End users. Individuals whose data is processed through the Services as part of a Customer's use of Firetiger, such as the Customer's own customers or employees whose interactions generate telemetry data.

This Policy does not govern the practices of our Customers. Our Customers are responsible for their own privacy policies and compliance with applicable laws regarding the data they collect and process through our Services.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide to us

If you purchase a paid subscription, we collect billing information such as your billing address and payment method details (though we do not store complete credit card numbers).

Communications. When you contact us for support, provide feedback, or otherwise communicate with us, we collect the content of those communications.

Integration credentials. When you connect the Services to third-party platforms (such as GitHub, Linear, or Slack), we collect and store the credentials and access tokens necessary to maintain those integrations.

Information we collect automatically

Telemetry data. When you use our Services, we collect telemetry data including traces, logs, metrics, and other observability data that you transmit to Firetiger. This data may include information about your software systems, infrastructure, and the interactions of your end users with your applications.

Usage data. We collect information about how you interact with our Services, including features used, configurations set, queries executed, and actions taken within the platform.

Log data. Our servers automatically record information when you access our Services, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and timestamps.

Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate our Services, remember your preferences, and understand how our Services are used. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

Information we receive from third parties

Integration data. When you connect third-party services to Firetiger, we may receive data from those services as necessary to provide the Services. For example, if you connect your GitHub account, we may receive information about your repositories and code changes.

Business contact information. We may receive business contact information from data providers, partners, or public sources to support our sales and marketing efforts.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide and operate the Services. We use your information to deliver, maintain, and improve the Services, including to process telemetry data, run AI agents, generate insights, and provide customer support.

Develop and improve our products. We use information, including telemetry data and usage patterns, to train machine learning models, develop new features, improve our algorithms, and enhance the Services. As described in our Terms of Service, we may create derivative works from Customer Content, including trained models and algorithms, which we own.

Create aggregate insights. We aggregate and anonymize data to create benchmarks, reports, and insights about software operations, industry trends, and service performance. This Aggregate Data does not identify any individual or Customer.

Communicate with you. We use your contact information to send transactional messages (such as account notifications and support responses), and, where permitted, marketing communications about our products and services.

Ensure security and prevent fraud. We use information to protect the security of our Services, detect and prevent fraud, and enforce our terms.

Comply with legal obligations. We use information as necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.

4. Data aggregation

We may aggregate and anonymize information we collect to create Aggregate Data that does not identify any individual or Customer. We use Aggregate Data to analyze trends, develop benchmarks, improve our Services, and for other lawful business purposes. We may share Aggregate Data with third parties, including in published reports and analyses.

5. Information sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:

Affiliates. We may share information with our corporate affiliates and subsidiaries for purposes consistent with this Policy.

Business transfers. If Firetiger is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Legal requirements. We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes; to protect the rights, property, or safety of Firetiger, our Customers, or others; or to enforce our agreements and policies.

With your consent. We may share information with third parties when you direct us to do so or provide your consent.

6. Customer data and our role

When we are a processor

For telemetry data and other Customer Content that our Customers transmit to the Services, Firetiger acts as a data processor (or service provider) on behalf of the Customer. Our Customers, as data controllers, determine the purposes and means of processing this data. We process such data only in accordance with our Customers' instructions and our agreements with them.

If you are an end user whose data is processed through Firetiger on behalf of one of our Customers, please direct any privacy inquiries or requests to that Customer. We will assist our Customers in responding to such requests as required by our agreements and applicable law.

When we are a controller

We act as a data controller for account information, usage data, and other information we collect for our own business purposes, such as billing, product improvement, and marketing.

7. BYOC deployments

For Customers using our Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC) deployment model, telemetry data and Customer Content remain in the Customer's own cloud environment (such as AWS, GCP, or Azure). Firetiger's software operates within the Customer's infrastructure, and Customer data does not transit or reside on Firetiger-controlled systems except as necessary to provide the control plane features described in our documentation.

8. International data transfers

You may opt out of marketing communications by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email or by contacting us at [email protected]. You will continue to receive transactional and service-related communications.

11. Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption, access controls, and regular security assessments. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When determining retention periods, we consider:
